Businesses with enterprise agreements could be given preference for government contracts

Labor says this bill is about procurement, but let's call it what it is, another favour for its union backers. Under these changes, businesses with enterprise agreements could be given preference for government contracts, grants and procurement opportunities. That has nothing to do with delivering value for taxpayers. Small businesses should win work based on merit, value and performance, not on whether they have the right union arrangements. Labor is putting unions first, again.
