The community of El Negrito, Yoro, is in mourning during the wake for Pastor and coffee farmer Óscar Núñez, a well-known religious leader and employer in the area. Núñez, founder of at least 13 churches, was described by those in attendance as a humble, helpful, and hardworking man who provided employment for hundreds of people on his coffee farms. The funeral is scheduled for today at 3:00 p.m. in his community, following a procession that will depart from his home to the church he founded.
