Oxford to Cambridge Railway (Part 3) The Bedford and Cambridge Railway (1993)

Part of a Three Part Series on the Oxford to Cambridge Railway dating to the 1980s/1990s. I was loaned these VHS videos for encoding. I do not own this content; but nothing on this channel is monetised. I hope these can be enjoyed by all who watch them. In the recent news of the soon to open GWR Line; it would be interesting for those involved to see these digitised versions of the videos. The Bedford & Cambridge Railway built the final section of the Oxford to Cambridge Line in 1862. A distance of some thirty miles . After closure in 1968 the rails were removed. Using Archive film, stills and video, this tape seeks to assemble a representative history of the line, before it finally passed beyond all living memory. No infringements Intended.
