FAST Enterprise services in the Belfast & Lisburn area

Filming Date: Friday 1st August 2025 Filming Locations: Finaghy station, Lambeg station & Derriaghy station This video features very fast Enterprise services passing through 3 different stations in the Belfast & Lisburn area in County Antrim. These services are operated with Enterprise, Translink N.I. Railways & Irish Rail trains. The following trains feature in this video: Enterprise: I.É. 201 Class + De Dietrich Coaches Translink N.I. Railways: N.I.R. 3000 Class Irish Rail: I.É. 22000 Class 'InterCity Railcar' I am extremely pleased with this video as I think it showcases some of my best filming to date, and the shots all turned out really well. Firstly, we start off at Finaghy station, where a northbound Enterprise train screams round the corner under the bridge, passing platform 2 through with the 09:50 Enterprise service from Connolly to Belfast Grand Central. The train was hauled by locomotive 231 'River Maigue' with D.V.T. 9004 at the rear. Then, the 12:00 Translink N.I. Railways service from Belfast Grand Central to Connolly passes through platform 1, operated by 3001 & 3004. Now at Lambeg station, another northbound Enterprise train screams round the corner, passing platform 2 with the 10:50 Enterprise service from Connolly to Belfast Grand Central. The train was hauled by locomotive 207 'River Boyne' with D.V.T. 9003 at the rear. You can hear the leaves blowing around after it has passed through. Then at platform 1, the first train in the video returns, as 9004 & 231 'River Maigue' appear out of nowhere and blast through with the 13:00 Enterprise service from Belfast Grand Central to Connolly. The train gave a fantastic 1 tone horn as it passed by, and it actually killed a bird and sent it flying (you can just about see this if you look closely). Finally, at Derriaghy station, 22037 is seen passing platform 2 with the 11:50 Irish Rail service from Connolly to Belfast Grand Central, with a 1 tone horn. And then at platform 1, 9003 & 207 'River Boyne' return, passing through with the 14:00 Enterprise service from Belfast Grand Central to Connolly. I am super pleased with this video it is one of my best ever!
