Hiving a nuc
Hiving a nuc. Day 1 of beekeeping. We had just got the nuc home yesterday evening. We sat the nucs in location our hives were planned for and opened the nuc door to allow the bees to explore the area. Waiting until around midday we got a dry spell on a showery morning that we could take hiving on in the dry. It went very smoothly with the bees seeming to be very relaxed. The temperature was about 13c which way have discouraged them from being too lively.
