“THE RIP FROM THE TIP” our idea was to complete the gruelling 7 day or 1200km Cape York adventure in reverse in only two days! The idea came to us while having a few beers at the pub after completing the epic 7 day motorbike trip through Cape Yorks best tracks with Top End Moto Tours. Day One started off at Punsand Bay at the very tip of Cape York where we had to cover over 600km through crazy temperatures upwards of 40deg Celsius. We had to do the whole of the Old Telegraph Track and the Frenchman’s Track. With heaps of kilometres to be covered on the Peninsula Developmental Road to get us all the way to Musgrave Roadhouse! Day two started off at Musgrave Roadhouse where we had to cover 360km before seeing another fuel stop so carrying a Jerry can each we jumped on our bikes and road through the Lakefield National park taking the extremely dusty and sketchy Starcke track, from there we headed into a small aboriginal town to get some fuel and then off to Cooktown before we tackled the red clay on the Creb track.
