We finally leave the Gulf of Carpentaria and make our way into Cape York via a combination of backroads, which includes a short cut that pushes our expedition truck to its limit tackling the deepest water crossing we have done, across the mighty Mitchell River. We see lots of amazing wildlife, bush camping along the way, passing huge road trains plus we get to have a look around the iconic 2-million-acre Dunbar Station, before reaching Musgrave Roadhouse to watch the football with the locals.
