TRANSITION BETWEEN THE NON FORMAL AND FORMAL SCHOOL SYSTEM IN KARAMOJA
ABEK has offered a clear non-formal pathway for education for many children in Karamoja, they have been unable to enter the formal government system. The ABEK programme & curriculum does not align to the national primary curriculum of Uganda this means that children exiting ABEK have trouble matriculating into the formal school system.
