KARAMOJONG – THE OLD MAN CAN WALK NO FURTHER The Karamoja region in northeast Uganda is a mystery even to those Ugandans who live in the south. Dry and desolate the region is home to more than a million people. Most are barely getting by surviving on only one meal per day if they are lucky. Their nomadic lifestyle has kept them on the move for thousands of years trying to find grass for their cattle. Their way of life is changing and this documentary takes a fascinating look into the Karamojong culture and a glimpse into the problems they face for survival.
