What Changed? A Now & Then Tour of Historic Port Deposit

On June 27, 2026, Tina and I took a walk through the historic river town of Port Deposit, Maryland, to create a “Now and Then” vlog comparing the town’s past with its present. Along the way, you’ll see vintage photos alongside current-day views of some of Port Deposit’s most recognizable landmarks, including: • St. Teresa’s Roman Catholic Church • Tome Memorial United Methodist Church • Water Witch Fire Department • Jefferson Hall • Gerry House • Jacob’s Ladder • Washington Hall • And much more! Also featured in this video is footage from the 1989 music video “Too Tired” by Gary Moore and Albert Collins, which was filmed in Port Deposit. You can watch it here:    • GARY MOORE*ALBERT COLLINS - TOO TIRED  -(D...   During our visit, the town was beautifully decorated in celebration of America’s 250th birthday, adding even more charm to this already incredible historic community. This video is especially meaningful to me because June marks the fifth anniversary of my move to Port Deposit, a town I’m proud to call home and still believe is the coolest town in the world! If you enjoy history, small-town charm, historic architecture, and seeing how places have changed over time, I hope you’ll enjoy this journey through Port Deposit.
