Police in Bristol granted new powers after teenage murder
Bristol Commander Superintendent Mark Runacres reads a statement to media in relation to last night’s fatal stabbing in the St Philips area of Bristol. A 16-year-old boy has been stabbed to death in Bristol by two masked attackers. The emergency services were sent to the Rawnsley Park area of the city, at about 6pm on Wednesday after reports of a stabbing, Avon and Somerset police said. Medics tried to save the teenager but he was pronounced dead. Police said the boy was attacked by two people wearing masks who then fled on bicycles.
