35th Anniversary Stratocaster-replacing the fretboard

A previous owner of this 35th Anniversary Stratocaster had removed the frets and flattened the fretboard radius. And it had not ben done at all well. The current ownerasked me to replace the fretboard and try and get the guitar back to its original state. As I thought it might do, this turned out to be a very challenging project.
