Stevie Ray Vaughan Strat - RUSTED TRUSS ROD!?

This repair was done for a friend of mine, Sean. He also happens to be the guy who I learned to do fret work fret work from. replacing a fingerboard though.... he didn't want to tackle. This guitar came through the local music store I teach at and occasionally do repairs for over a decade ago. It was snatched up by our amp repair guy, Wiley. It was refretted by my friend Sean, in stianless steel. It was his first stainless steel fret job. Wiley was a bit of a collector and in his later years his health was failing. Much of his guitar collection was stored, for some reason, in his yard, under a tarp, for multiple YEARS! He brought this one and around a dozen other instruments to the store and told his long time friend and owner of the store that they were his to sell or keep as he desired. About 3 months later, Wiley passed away. I was happy to be a part of bringing this on back to life.
