Started at a small taberna with tapas, local wine, and Jamón Ibérico. Discovered that while the ham is expensive, the price directly correlates to the quality. Market Mornings and Seafood Headed to a market around 11:00 AM for a seafood "breakfast" of sorts. The food was incredibly fresh, though not heavily spiced. Also noted a mediocre dessert spot and a confusing Indian-Mexican restaurant nearby. Lunch and Sightseeing Walked past the Roman amphitheater to reach a famous, large restaurant decorated with wine barrels. Sat outside to enjoy the beautiful weather and excellent ambiance while eating more seafood. Dinner Delicacies Visited a renowned spot specifically for leg of goat. Followed this with Gambas al Ajillo (garlic shrimp), considered a "must-have" dish. The Second Day: Markets and Neighborhoods Returned to the market to check out the olive booths. Decided to eat lunch there, ordering giant Langostinos. Learned that sitting down at the market stalls costs extra, making the meal surprisingly pricey. Explored a Moorish neighborhood that looked like a movie set and found a coffee shop with incredible latte art. Beachside Dining Ate at Chiringuitos, the outdoor grills located right on the beach. Enjoyed grilled sardines, fish, and shrimp cooked under the hot sun. Final Meals and Departure Grabbed some gelato before a sit-down dinner at Casa de Bandera for high-end ham and tomato bread (pan con tomate). Amusingly, noticed that the most crowded place in town appeared to be a Dunkin' Donuts. Concluded the trip at the Malaga airport lounge—which was empty—enjoying one last round of pastries and ham. Malaga is highly recommended for its culinary scene. ‪@abcdseetheworld888‬
