Bet, Rita and Mavis in Blackpool - 1 and 3 July 1985

40 years ago this week in Coronation Street - Bet, Rita and Mavis went off on a holiday to Blackpool. This is a supercut of the Blackpool scenes. Bet was hoping to find a fella, which annoyed Mavis who wanted to see some of the sights... like the zoo! Mavis ends up meeting a nice man named Norris, whereas Bet and Rita find themselves in the company of two holiday reps - which ends in disaster although Rita did enjoy getting away from it all after, in her words, a tough eighteen months. All in all, it was Mavis who enjoyed the holiday most whereas Bet and Rita wanted to forget about the whole thing. Lovely scenes with three fabulous women. Copyright of ITVplc and Granada.
