We'll clearly explain WHICH questions await you on card 8 during the departure check and HOW you can answer them in the C driving test. The departure check is part of the practical driving test and lasts approximately 15 minutes. There are 10 control cards in total - we'll start with card 8. Before the test drive, you can draw a card and answer it for the examiner. Card 8 contains the following questions: 1. Operation of the switches on the EC control unit 2. Check the effectiveness of the air dryer and the level of antifreeze 3. Check the steering play 4. Check the battery (connections and fastening) 5. Check the fluid level in the windshield and headlight washer system 6.
