Today, we show you a delicious Paneer Kofta Biryani Recipe. Paneer is an Indian Cottage cheese that has been made into vegetarian kofta's in this recipe. We were requested by one of our viewers to make a Vegetarian Biryani, and we also received another request to make Malai Kofta, so we decided to combine the two and make for you all this epic Veg Paneer Kofta Biryani (which is also known as Malai Kofta Biryani). Kofta's are also known as meatballs, but in this recipe, the kofta's are completely suitable for vegetarians as they have been made by combining paneer (cottage cheese) with potatoes and spices to form the most wonderful kofta's. Biryani is often made with meat or chicken, but in this vegetarian version made using paneer (or malai) the biryani can also be enjoyed by vegetarians. This Paneer Kofta Biryani was absolutely delicious and so aromatic. The spices and flavours we used makes this Veg Paneer Malai Kofta Biryani absolutely delicious and such a show-stopping dish. For the best results, the Paneer kofta's can be deep-fried, however, we wanted to show that they can also be made as a healthier option by shallow frying and then baking in the oven for 20 minutes (250C) for 20 minutes. This made the paneer kofta's perfectly crispy and golden, which actually resembled meatballs!
