There are two main things that you need to understand in order to get the most out of this content: 1. Speed Trend Vector: This will indicate to the pilots if the aircraft is accelerating or decelerating. You will see a green arrow coming out from your Airspeed indication. The Speed Trend Vector indicates where your speed will be in the next 10 seconds. 2. Flap Maneuvering Speed: On the right of the Airspeed Tape you will see Green numbers, these numbers indicate the flap maneuvering speed for that specific flap setting. This is important because you cannot fly below the maneuvering speed unless you have a higher flap setting. In the video, we are going to take off, climb to 1000 Above Aerodrome Level, and then we will accelerate to the minimum clean speed. In order to start the flap retraction, you need to make sure that the speed is above the flap maneuvering speed and that the speed trend vector is positive. So, in order to retract the flap from flap 5 to flap 1, you must be above flap 5 maneuvering speed with a positive speed trend vector. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you feel like supporting the PILOTCLIMB channel with a donation you can send a PayPal or a crypto transaction to the addresses below: PayPal address: https://www.paypal.me/PilotClimb BTC address: 3DMaWztGYufX9WH33hSVNouwVpMEBA6m1t ETH address: 0x486fcA0234e2950D2068d1171379F5Efb36B911A ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Timestamps: 00:00 Intro 01:04 Briefing 02:11 Speed Trend Vector 03:56 White Bug 04:44 Flap Maneuvering Speed 06:36 Aircraft Performance 07:10 Take-off 10:12 Flap retraction ============================================================== Disclaimer: THIS VIDEO IS FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY.
