EDALE SKYLINE CHALLENGE - PEAK DISTRICT - 20 MILE HIKE

Edale Skyline, the ultimate Peak District Hike! It's been the list of Peak District hikes for some time so me and schoolfriend, Ed, finally managed to tick it off with a glorious day in the Peak District! Key tips from me: -Pack plenty of food and water. -If attempting solo or with someone else make sure a friend or family member knows you're doing it that day and give them a couple of updates throughout the day. -Start early, give yourself plenty of time to allow time for breaks etc. -Pack a compass and map (should do this for every walk in the Peak District), the map is 'Peak District Dark Peak Area' there are some exposed areas that can turn foggy in a matter of minutes. Check mountain/local forecast, a lot of exposed areas so can be extremely windy. -Sun cream if sunny, no shade for 99% of walk. -Enjoy one of the greatest walks in the Peak District :)
