EDALE SKYLINE - 20 Mile Solo Hike - Peak District

Edale Skyline, the ultimate Peak District Hike! Finally managed to get a perfect day of weather to get this walk ticked off the bucket list. A 20 mile route that takes in some of the best views that the Peak District has to offer! This is definitely a day I'll never forget and its gone straight to the top of the pile of my favourite routes in the Peaks District! Key tips from me: -Pack plenty of food and water. -If attempting solo or with someone else make sure a friend or family member knows you're doing it that day and give them a couple of updates throughout the day. -Start early, give yourself plenty of time to allow time for breaks etc. -Pack a compass and map (should do this for every walk in the Peak District), the map is 'Peak District Dark Peak Area' there are some exposed areas that can turn foggy in a matter of minutes.
