Skinning the Wander Tears Vaga with 0.063" Aluminum (It was thick!)

We are one giant step closer to hitting the trail! In this episode of the Vega teardrop build, we are tackling one of the most intimidating stages of the entire project: installing the aluminum exterior skin. To keep things within budget, we made some unconventional material choices—using ultra-durable 0.063 aluminum for our curved roof and 0.040 sky-blue aluminum for the sides. Wrestling these stiff sheets into place, routing out our stargazing window, and preventing highway panel rattle with VHB tape proved to be a wild, physically demanding ride. With some crucial help from my partner (and a quick sanity check from our dog, Arvo), we managed to get the Vaga completely clad and trimmed out.
