I built this Robot for my First Video #bigbotbash3 @BillMakingStuff

This is my first ever YouTube video… so I decided to go all in and build something for #BigBotBash3 🤖 ‪@BillMakingStuff‬ In this project, I take a Zurg toy from Lightyear and turn it into a weathered desert exploration robot — something that looks like it’s been wandering harsh, sandy wastelands for decades. I’ve been building and painting miniatures for a while, but filming and editing is a whole new challenge for me 😅 so this is very much a learning experience. I used a mix of Gamemaster, Citadel, and standard acrylic paints to create worn metal, dust effects, and that sun-beaten, aged look. Honestly, I’m really happy with how the robot turned out… the video? I’ll let you decide. If you’ve got any tips (especially for filming or editing), I’d genuinely love to hear them in the comments.
