Revel Mission: Baja #1 -Crossing the Border, Southbound to Paradise and a Massive Wind Storm

Peter & Kathy Holcombe head south from Agile Offroad in their Winnebago Revel 4x4 Sprinter van to skip winter and explore Baja's mountains, deserts, and beaches. In this episode, they find many challenges and stress in crossing the border but eventually make it across with all the required paperwork. Their first night in Mexico has them camping in an abandoned resort with zombie movie vibes. But they find beauty everywhere, especially their second-night camping on the beach at Punta Final. This seems like paradise until it all gets blown away in an epic Baja sandstorm that has them fleeing to hide between two abandoned buildings with more zombie movie vibes. The challenge is offset by making amazing new friends from Scotland (Geraldine and Dan, @Dolly.s_diary) to share this challenge with. Ultimately, Baja is magic, and the crew is ready to explore further south.
