DIY Concrete Table Top : Our New Dining Table

Subscribe: http://bit.ly/SubBrendanFallis  Watch the newest videos:    • Daily Life | Brendan Fallis     We have been wanting to recover our dining room table for so long, and we have seen a bunch of inspo of concrete top tables so we thought we'd try it. Not an easy process, but seemingly not too difficult either. We went to youtube to look for some inspo on the process and found that everyone was kind of doing it the same. So we went to the hardware store and go everything we needed and went for it. It came out pretty well, but have to say that if we did it again, wouldn't use quick dry concrete, but rather regular drying concrete for the table top, as it would give you much more time to perfect the surface area. Instead ours felt rushed as we had to work so quickly with it, especially in the heat outdoors. But all in all, our dining table now has a new life and we're really excited about it! Do it yourself! You might make mistakes, but it's a fulfilling learning experience and just rewarding doing things yourselves.
