Ultimate Moorreesburg Vlog: Sourdough Bread, Padstal Finds & West Coast Braai | Braai Adventures

Welcome to Braai Adventures Vlog 28 This time we head out on a West Coast road trip to the charming town of Moorreesburg, known for its wheat fields, small-town hospitality, and hidden gems. We start our journey at a beautiful hidden padstal called Desert Rose, a proper roadside stop filled with character and local charm. From there, we head into town and enjoy a round of mini golf (putt-putt), adding a bit of fun to the road trip. Being in wheat country, we had to try something local, freshly baked sourdough bread, one of Moorreesburg’s most well-known specialties. And then it’s time for what we came for… the braai. On the fire we prepare a long-requested favourite: Poffadder wors, packed with flavour and tradition. We also take things up a level with steak sushi, sourdough braaibroodjies, and homemade steak sosaties as our main course. A perfect mix of road trip exploring, local food culture, and proper South African braai fire cooking. If you enjoy West Coast road trips, hidden padstals, small-town food experiences, and authentic braai culture, this one is for you.
