Samuel Lintaro Hopf meets Pia Parolin after her Australia trip with the RICOH GR III Diary Edition

​‪@SamuelStreetlife‬ meets up with ‪@piaparolin‬ for a coffee and a catch-up about Pia's latest trip to Australia. Of course, the GR is known for its strengths in street photography, but more and more people are coming to realise the strengths of this series as an everyday camera, capturing your daily life, with a 'behind the scenes' feel. We had a lot of feedback that the cameras were being used in this way, which is one of the reasons why the Diary Edition was launched. Looking through Pia's images perfectly represents this too. It's that feeling of always having a camera with you, that you can rely on to capture high-quality images with no excuses! Firstly she describes how she uses the camera at a Brazilian festival, where the images definitely have more of a street vibe. Then she went on to explore the Australian landscape with the camera capturing her travel on the way. Pia goes also talks about how used the trip as an opportunity to meet with Julia Coddington and Rebecca Wiltshire who are two of the founders from Women in Street - so great to see photographers connecting around the world through their love of Photography!
