Fujifilm X30 Review in 2026 — Is It Worth €320?

Is the Fujifilm X30 still worth buying in 2026? After testing a slightly broken Fujifilm X10, I asked whether I should try the X20 or X30 next — and most of you recommended the X30. I paid €320 for a fully functional Fujifilm X30 with its original box, manual and accessories, and took it with me to South Tyrol and Innsbruck to find out how well this 12-megapixel compact camera still works for travel and street photography. In this video, I talk about the X30’s compact size, its 28–112mm equivalent f/2–2.8 zoom lens, electronic viewfinder, built-in flash, leaf shutter and the additional control ring that I used like a traditional aperture ring. I also look at the image quality of its 12MP X-Trans sensor, its low-light limitations and whether the files are still good enough for social media and smaller prints. For most of the trip, I used the Classic Kodak Chrome Fujifilm recipe by Fuji X Weekly and mainly photographed JPEGs straight out of camera.
