06º Dia - ADEUS ASTÚRIAS, HOLA GALIZA! A Fronteira Mais Emocionante do Caminho Primitivo.

On the 6th day of the Primitive Way, the challenge takes on its most brutal form under the impact of constant rain, mud, and extremely slippery terrain. The 31.19 km journey connects Grandas de Salime to A Fonsagrada (Padrón), overcoming more than 1,013 m of accumulated elevation gain in severe mountain conditions. The episode portrays the physical and mental overcoming of the mud and humidity while crossing the border from Asturias to Galicia at the mystical Puerto de Acebo, at over 1,030 m altitude. A real demonstration of the trials of the Camino de Santiago de Compostela for those planning to face the route under adverse weather conditions.
