Zhongshan Shopping District & Shilin Night Market 🇹🇼

We didnt have any specific plan so we decided today is our free day. Starting day with breakfast place we randomly found on google map. It is pretty affordable and enough nutrient for morning. Jenny chose fried noodles it came out lil bit oily, however the taste was great. With a windy day in Taipei, warm milk tea is also a good choice. Joonas chose sandwich, Taiwanese omelette and coffee. After breakfast, we supposed to take metro to ZhongShan station from Taipei Main Station. And somehow we ended up walking whole way underground. We chose ZhongShan because we know this place is popular for young people to hangout and shopping. Today is Sunday so it is perfect day to explore. We were quite early so not so many shops open, so we just walked around and pin point where we gonna visit later. Jenny wants to do DIY keychain in Taipei so we went to custom keychain souvenir shop to do it. After that we moved to Iyoshi Coca, which is popular on social media. It was good that we were second in line. The shop gained long line pretty quickly, but the shop staff handle it well and line moved up pretty fast. We tried the Original version and Taiwanese edition, we also bought one gift set so we can DIY the drink back in Finland. Honestly we both like Original taste better than other. Continuing shopping, Joonas found himself a pair of pants which is really good quality for a good price. We were so hungry so we chose randomly a DanDan noodle restaurant to have lunch, and surprisingly it was delicious. In the evening, we went to Shilin Night market. We really like this market, It is big and has more room to walk rather than Raohe. Not only food vendors, you can also play games, buy clothing, and trinkets.
