The film tells the story of the creation and operation of the Pieniny Museum in Szlachtowa. Barbara Węglarz, the Museum's director, vividly describes the people who ambitiously collected artifacts and created exhibitions, striving to preserve for future generations the tangible and intangible heritage of the Pieniny highlanders and Ruthenians, as well as knowledge about the Szczawnica spa town. After moving from the center of Szczawnica, the Pieniny Museum, a branch of the Sądecka Land Museum, moved to Szlachtowa, where it has excellent facilities for its collection of artifacts and a rich archive.
