However, its main goal is to depict the current situation of Nowy Sącz, highlighting the issues and challenges faced by the city's residents. The film serves as a unique portrait of the inhabitants and individuals connected to the city, showcasing the diversity of their daily lives and their impact on the social, cultural, and economic development of the region. It illustrates the passions, professions, concerns, and challenges that they must confront. In addition to presenting individual stories, the film showcases important landmarks in the city, such as historical sites, parks, cultural and educational institutions, as well as meeting places like squares, restaurants, and cafes. By portraying Nowy Sącz from various perspectives, the film captures the character of the city—its beauty and uniqueness, but also the social and economic challenges that residents must face. --- The film "PORTRAIT OF A SMALL TOWN (2022)" was created as part of the FILMOTEKA MAŁOPOLSKA program, implemented by the Małopolskie Cultural Center SOKÓŁ in Nowy Sącz and funded by the budget of the Małopolskie Voivodeship.
