Lyra is a bard born into a family of soldiers in the Royal Guard of a noble family. She grew up observing the etiquette, arts, and swordsmanship lessons of the castle children, learning everything on her own. As an adult, she was recruited into the Royal Guard, where she clashed with her superiors for disobeying orders to abuse commoners of the kingdom. She became a fugitive exile, working as an arts and self-defense instructor for merchants on the road, hoping to gather enough gold to buy her family's freedom.
