A year after the farmers' protests that brought France to a standstill, how are our farmers faring? The Life team met with livestock farmers who mobilized at the blockades last year. In the Isère region, Julien and Sébastien, burdened by expenses, still can't make a living from their work despite the announced reforms. Some are trying to address these difficulties. For milk, butter, eggs, and other products, the brand "C'est qui le patron" (Who's the Boss?) offers supermarket prices that guarantee farmers a fair wage. Some can even finally take a vacation! This fair model is a hit with consumers: the non-profit company generated €126 million in revenue last year.
