We're taking you inside the kitchen of famous Atlanta French bakery Douceur de France for a virtual cooking demo with Chef Luc to learn how to make French palmiers cookies. This recipe is super easy, and a perfect quarantine activity for kids! It is as easy as rolling out some puff pastry, sprinkling sugar and butter, and rolling it into that classic "palmier" (palm tree) shape. As it bakes, the sugar caramelizes and makes them golden, making it a fancy-looking French dessert! These are a very easy light, crispy, flaky cookie, made up of only 3 ingredients: butter, sugar, and puff pastry sheets (store bought or handmade from Douceur de France).
