10 Jamaah Haji Lampung Tertunda, keberangkatannya ke Tanah Suci

BANDARLAMPUNG (May 2, 2026) – Ten prospective Hajj pilgrims from Lampung Province have had their departure to the Holy Land for the 1447 H/2026 AD Hajj season canceled or postponed. The postponement was due to various factors, ranging from health conditions, deaths, to incomplete documentation. As of Saturday, May 2, 2026, 2,657 pilgrims from Lampung, out of a total quota of 5,869, had departed for Saudi Arabia. The departure process was carried out through the Rajabasa Hajj Dormitory in Bandar Lampung, and so far six groups have departed. The ten delayed pilgrims come from four regions: Central Lampung, North Lampung, Way Kanan, and Pesawaran, and are spread across several groups. The Ministry ensures that all services at the Rajabasa Hajj Dormitory, from health checks and administrative services to the distribution of living expenses, are running according to procedures and operational standards. Meanwhile, officials in the Holy Land report that a number of pilgrims, particularly the elderly, are beginning to experience health problems due to fatigue.
