"Yes, the perpetrator is the husband of a member of the Trenggalek DPRD. We have named him a suspect and detained him," said AKP Eko on Tuesday (November 4, 2025). We suspect him under Article 351 of the Criminal Code concerning assault," he explained. Perpetrator Immediately Commits Violence Without Clarification Based on the investigation, the perpetrator spontaneously committed the assault without clarification against the victim, Eko Prayitno, an arts and culture teacher at SMPN 1 Trenggalek. "The perpetrator came and immediately attacked the victim. His motive stemmed from a report from his family regarding the alleged destruction of a student's cellphone," explained AKP Eko. Police also confiscated several pieces of evidence, including the victim's and the perpetrator's clothing, as well as a cellphone that triggered the incident.
