Today we are going to Budva, one of Montenegro’s best-known resort towns, where street cats are everywhere. This video continues my journey through the most cat-filled cities of Montenegro. After Kotor and Herceg Novi, it is time to meet the cats of Budva! But what keeps bringing me back to Budva most of all is its street cats. Calm, independent, and somehow completely sure that the city belongs to them. In this cinematic film, we follow the cats of Budva through different moments of the city: daylight, night streets, morning light, and New Year and Christmas decorations. This is not a typical travel guide to Budva. It is the city seen through its cats, who sometimes make it feel like there really are more cats than tourists. This video was filmed in November 2024 and December 2025 using an iPhone 13 Pro for the daytime scenes and a Panasonic G9 for the night scenes.
