T3 impossible à aménager : le choix radical pour sauver ce 67m²
Transforming a narrow, corridor-like space into a room that breathes is often where the magic happens in Paris. In this project completed in the 9th arrondissement, we take you on a tour with Maël from the Homenext team to see the final result! An apartment with an atypical, very rectangular layout, which we redesigned from the ground up… without necessarily tearing everything down just for the sake of it. We discuss the project: — why we changed the layout (from a 2-bedroom to a 3-bedroom) to create a proper living space — how we kept the existing elements when it made sense (furniture/kitchen) — the material choices (travertine, handmade zellige tiles, marble/onyx) — and above all, the realities of the project: delivery delays, missing square footage, trade-offs, and solutions. If you have an apartment to renovate in Paris or the Île-de-France region, whether it's a primary residence, an investment property, or a commercial space, and you're looking for a team to handle the architecture, the construction, and the follow-up: 👉 Schedule a meeting with me so we can discuss it :) : https://app.iclosed.io/e/homenext/est... Chapters 00:00 – The brief and the challenge of the long, narrow layout 00:30 – Project context (Paris 9th arrondissement, 3-bedroom → 2-bedroom) 01:55 – Kitchen: extending the flow (and avoiding a corridor effect) 02:50 – Travertine: cost / durability / trade-offs 04:33 – Zellige tiles: deadlines, delays, delivery… the real story 06:32 – “Country house”: integrating existing furniture 10:30 – Semi-custom walk-in closet (IKEA + custom-made cabinetry) 12:50 – The details that make all the difference (outlets, switches, handles) 2:49 PM – Bathroom: glass partition + hanging mirror + natural light 4:58 PM – Toilet: small choices, big impact 6:19 PM – Conclusion
