Episode 6 The Woven Almanac Podcast - A cast off, a cast on, cross stitch, incoming inspiration

Welcome back, crafty friends. It's time for Episode 6 of The Woven Almanac. Today, we're wrapping up the "One Love Mystery Shawl" by Joji Locatelli, as mine is officially off the needles and blocked. I've also cast on a new pair of socks in a gorgeous Christmas yarn by Birdstreet Yarn. I'm thrilled with the self-striping and colours. This is my second one, and I love it even more than the first; the colours are right up my street. I wanted you to see how blocking really pulls out the details of patterns. Finally, I've also been doing some slow cross-stitching. It's nice to have a little project to dip into, especially as the cold, dark nights have arrived here in the Netherlands.
