NES Gauntlet Elf% Speedrun 13:36.550
Here is my latest PB for NES Gauntlet using the Elf, streamed live on my Twitch channel on June 17, 2026. This is the main speedrun category for the game since the Elf is the fastest character. This run uses all currently known strategies that improve completion times, including manipulating the vault code at the start of the run, using "flowkey" to underflow your keys to 255, and using RNG manipulation for treasure room exits where it saves time. The unofficial framecount for this run is 13:36.550 (pending verification) which would make it a 3 frame improvement over the former world record by Guggensulli. EDIT: Thanks Guggensulli for the time check, the time is verified. However, it actually beats the former world record by only ONE frame. Amazing!
