Final Fantasy Tactics:The Ivalice Chronicles New Game+ Speedrun 57:18

As of June 16, 2026, FFT:TIC released an update (1.5.0) that added a New Game+ mode. This mode uses one of your completed game saves to start the game over again, but with your starting team replaced by whatever your team was just before the final battle series in the completed save. Predictably, this allows for extremely overpowered setups to beat the game again. As of this recording, the FFT:TIC speedrun leaderboards have not yet been updated to include this category. This will happen in the next week or so. This run uses a completed game save that only has Ramza with the following attributes: Level 97 Bravery 97 Faith 97 All Arithmetician action abilities learned Spells learned: Holy, Thundaga, Flare, Immobilize, Gravity, Hesitation, Induration Reaction Ability: Mana Shield Support Ability: Magick Boost Movement Ability: (none) The equipment available is as follows: Weapon: Excalibur (auto-haste) Shield: Kaiser Shield (boosts lightning damage), Aegis Shield (+1 magick) Helmet: Barrette (blocks many status effects), Thief's Cap (+2 speed) Armor: Ninja Gear (+2 speed, start battle invisible), Wizard's Robe (+2 magick) Accessory: Magepower Gloves (+2 magick), Cursed Ring (+1 speed, +1 magick) Some of this equipment was found in Midlight's Deep in the completed file, the rest was either purchased ahead of time or received from guest characters. This run was streamed live on my Twitch channel on June 21, 2026. This run is similar to the any% speedrun, with the grinding omitted (since it is already done) and certain battle strategies are faster with Ramza's extremely high overall stats.
