Busy Day in the Carpathians: Renewing the Terrace, Chopping Wood & Family Dinner🍲

Today was a whirlwind of activity, and the day in our Carpathian village turned out to be incredibly busy! While the kids were at daycare, everyone was focused on their part of the homestead chores. Roza took on a big project—cleaning and painting the terrace railings to get them ready for the season. Meanwhile, Roman was hard at work chopping wood for the house. Viktoriia had a busy day too, transplanting flowers and then heading to the kitchen to prepare a delicious meal for the whole family. For dinner, we had crispy Village-style potatoes and baked Hake fish in the air fryer, served with a fresh salad. There’s nothing better than a warm meal together after a productive day in the mountains! 🥗🐟⛰️ We finished the evening in the garden, where Roman and Sashko worked on pruning and grafting trees to ensure a great harvest later this year.
