舊款RTS R165改二代電推！連新版ECU也升級｜加速質感接近G7？｜克里斯

Here’s something a little different for this RTS R165 project. This time, I’m upgrading my RTS with the second-generation electric assist system, while also replacing it with the newer ECU. I’ll be recording the full installation process and my first riding impressions. A lot of people have been wondering: can the older RTS be directly upgraded to the second-generation electric assist system? After switching to the newer ECU, will the system work properly? Will any warning lights appear? And once it’s actually on the road, will there be any real difference in takeoff, low-speed throttle response, re-acceleration after rolling off the throttle, and mid-range acceleration feel? After this upgrade, the most noticeable change isn’t an increase in power. Instead, the acceleration feels more natural and better connected. Especially after I adjusted the transmission setup, the power gap and slight hesitation that were easier to feel before now seem shorter and less obvious, at least based on my initial impressions. With the newer ECU paired with the second-generation electric assist system, the overall throttle response also feels closer to the tuning logic of the newer RTS. As for whether the acceleration feel is close to the G7, this episode will start by documenting the installation process and my first test ride impressions. Later on, I’ll also do a more complete real-world comparison through daily commuting, stop-and-go city riding, two-up riding, and longer-term use. Simply put, this is about finding out whether this little KYMCO performance scooter can break through its limits once again after the upgrade.
