Scott F Series Fiberglass Fly Rod - IFTD 2018
Jim Bartschi explains the benefits of fiberglass with the new Scott F Series. Scott Fly Rod Company have been working with fibreglass fly rods for 40 years. So it stands to reason that they know a little about glass and the most suitable application for fly fishing. This year Scott has updated the technology with their new FiberFuse enhanced resin system creating a stronger and higher performing blank that further stabilises the tracking and feel. Ranging from a 6'2" 2-weight to a 7'2" 4-weight, Jim Bartschi highlights that small stream fishing is the best application for fiberglass fly rods.
