Residential school survivor crisis line flooded with calls since Kamloops findings

Bruce Allan, a resolution health support worker at the Indian Residential Schools Survivors Society and himself a residential school survivor,says the discovery of remains at the former Kamloops residential school has been triggering for many Indigenous people. Support is available for anyone affected by their experience at residential schools, and those who are triggered by the latest reports. A national Indian Residential School Crisis Line has been set up to provide support for former students and those affected.
