Ridiculed back then, now a collector's item: The VW Golf Country is the all-wheel-drive counterpart to the Golf 2 with off-road capabilities. It's considered one of the biggest flops in Volkswagen's history. After around 7,700 units, the unloved SUV pioneer was discontinued. This makes it particularly rare and valuable today.
