In 2025, the Lynk & Co lineup expands with the arrival of the 08, the manufacturer's second plug-in hybrid model, but with a dual-motor operation philosophy that's the opposite of the previous model. While the 01 had an electric motor supporting the internal combustion engine for approximately 75 km of range in all-electric mode, the premium D-SUV is the opposite. The generous nearly 40 kWh battery allows for 200 km in zero-emission mode, with the 137 hp 1.5-liter turbo gasoline engine called upon with minimal effort and only when necessary. With a charging capacity of up to 85 kW, the Lynk & Co 08 promises to be one of the most interesting plug-in hybrids of the moment, although it lacks physical buttons on the dashboard and the driving aids are a bit pushy.
