With over a thousand kilometers of total autonomy, the model redefines the concept of travel freedom by eliminating charging anxiety even on the longest journeys. The heart of the 08 is a new-generation hybrid engine that integrates a 1.5-liter turbo petrol with a 39.6 kWh lithium-ion battery: the system delivers 257 kW, equivalent to 345 HP, and 615 Nm of torque, pushing the SUV from zero to one hundred kilometers per hour in 6.8 seconds. The 3-DHT EVO three-speed automatic transmission coordinates the transition between electric, hybrid and thermal traction, optimizing consumption and emissions. In everyday driving, the car moves in silence, consuming just 0.9 liters of fuel every hundred kilometers in the combined cycle and limiting CO₂ to just 23 g/km, values ​​that place it at the top of the category in terms of efficiency. The chassis, built with over 75% high-strength steels and equipped with a single-piece boron steel door ring, integrates an under-shield and battery protection systems with high-voltage disconnection in sixty-five milliseconds. Seven standard airbags and twenty-one driving assistance functions - from Front Cross Traffic Alert to Lane Keeping Aid - work to prevent critical situations and protect the driver and passengers in all conditions. The range includes two distinct identities united by a rich equipment. The Core version represents the access to the 08 world with nineteen-inch wheels, panoramic roof, complete 5G infotainment and full ADAS suite, at a starting price of 52,995 euros on the European market. The More adds twenty-one-inch wheels, Matrix LED headlights, a twenty-three-speaker Harman Kardon audio system and seats with ventilation and massage, positioning itself at 56,995 euros; both will arrive in dealerships and continental Lynk & Co Clubs from June 2025, with orders already open online. The sculpted surfaces tell the story of the evolution of the “The Next Day” design language: the new split daytime running lights, combined with the new black Tech Band that crosses the front, give the nose a high-tech character, while the lateral Tech Totem signs the side with a futuristic accent. The taut belt line and the passages of light on the bonnet recall Scandinavian landscapes and anticipate the aerodynamic attention of the rear, where an LED light blade reinterprets the Lynk & Co identity for a new generation. Inside, the cabin embraces the “Next Premium” philosophy: the lounge seats are heated, ventilated and equipped with a massage function, while the panoramic roof floods the environment with light, finished with recycled and soft-to-the-touch materials. A 15.4-inch touchscreen dominates the center, which, thanks to 5G connectivity, manages the ECARX EAS system and makes over ninety percent of the functions accessible with three simple taps. The voice assistant recognizes nine languages ​​and allows you to adjust the climate control, windows or navigation without taking your eyes off the road, while the proprietary app allows you to pre-condition the car or share the digital key with friends and family. Project 08 was conceived from the beginning with a sustainable focus: production takes place in plants powered exclusively by renewable energy from 2022; the interior trim uses up to fifty-five percent recycled content and the paints are water-based, while the Active Cabin Cleaning system keeps the air healthy by neutralizing VOC emissions. Thanks to the vehicle-to-load function, the car delivers up to 3.3 kW to power outdoor appliances, and through the proprietary app it remains faithful to the brand's vision of shared mobility, allowing you to rent the car to third parties with a simple touch on your smartphone.
