[HD] Railways of Nebraska Part 2: UP's Omaha and Blair Subdivisions

This video series covers the major rail arteries in the "Cornhusker" state, many of which have been vital for cross-country traffic since the 1860's. Today we'll visit Council Bluffs before heading north to Missouri Valley, an important junction on UP's overland route and a junction with the former Chicago & Northwestern Railroad that now forms UP's Blair subdivision, used to bypass Omaha entirely. We'll also visit Fremont, a busy junction where the two lines come together and cross BNSF's Sioux City subdivision. Enjoy!
