Shopping for My New Kitchen in Japan 🇯🇵

After many weeks of renovating my old Japanese house, I thought I'd be sharing a complete kitchen reveal by now. Unfortunately, part of the project is still on hold, so instead of focusing on what's unfinished, I decided to focus on what I can do right now. In this video, I take you shopping for kitchen items in Japan as I begin preparing my new Japanese kitchen for everyday life. From kitchen organisers and drawer inserts to cleaning supplies, storage ideas, magnetic kitchen accessories, and clever Japanese home products, I'm slowly working out how to make this space functional, practical, and beautiful. Rather than rushing to fill every cupboard and drawer, I'm taking my time, researching organisation ideas, and figuring out what will actually work for the way I live. Sometimes the final reveal has to wait, but there is still plenty of progress happening behind the scenes. I also take a break from renovation life to enjoy a movie and lunch with my friend Natsumi, a reminder that life doesn't stop while we're waiting for things to be finished. If you enjoy Japanese homes, kitchen organisation, home renovation, slow living, decluttering, interior design, Japanese storage ideas, or following the journey of restoring an old house in Japan, I hope you'll enjoy spending the day with me. ✨ In this video: • Shopping for kitchen items in Japan • Organising a new kitchen • Magnetic kitchen accessories • Japanese home goods shopping • Japanese kitchen inspiration • Living in Japan • Renovating an old Japanese house • Everyday life in Japan • Preparing a new kitchen My kitchen may not be finished yet, but I'm learning that sometimes it's the little things that move us forward.
